BBC School Report at Islamia Girls School

In the BBC school report project, we did a variety of things on different days; our first meeting was on Friday the 4th of December 2009, where when we were put in to our groups and allocated our roles. On the 9th of December 2009, we were given a homework to select 3 topics for the BBC school report, and from those three, selected one which we thought was best. At first we chose “ Is the Media is bias? ” But eventually we decided to change it to “ Do Films Encourage Violence? ”

We tried filming on the 22nd of January 2010, but that didn’t go so well seeing our script wasn’t in tip top shape, so instead we decided to improve our script. We began collecting new information for our topic, we got new quotes and stories and wrote our first script for the new topic. We then disscused with our teacher what we needed to improve. We finalized our script on Tuesday the 9th of February. We did our power point for the statistics part. We then filmed the statics part along with the presentor part. While filming we had lots of laughs and jokes, it was really fun to get an opportunity to act for once as grownups on tv. i guess.. hehe.. :) And so after all the stress, arguments, fun and laughter, we've almost finished the BBC School Report.. Trust me.. it might seem hard and stressfull, but its really a heck of fun, especially when you're with your friends. You should try it ;)
